MY WORK

About Me

Nicknamed “the exclamation point,” Kennedy’s passion for the creative and performing arts has been evident since childhood. Even now, Kennedy brings high energy to everything, treating every moment as a performance.

At age 10, Kennedy taught herself animation and stop-motion, creating films with her dolls at home. Unbeknownst to her, providing her own voiceovers for these dolls was her first foray into voice acting.

Everything changed when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was sixteen. But in that loneliness, she found connection through characters in media. This new discovery sparked so much joy, that Kennedy moved from her small hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona, to Los Angeles, determined to pursue her passion in the world of storytelling.

Kennedy is a creative spirit, constantly seeking to innovate and reinvent. She thrives on making scripts come alive, transforming words on a page into dynamic performances. She is passionate about bringing authentic vulnerability and humanity to her roles, and her energetic and imaginative mind is always buzzing with ideas on how to achieve this.

When she isn't voice acting, Kennedy is a natural leader in her community. In 2025, she started her own mental health podcast "The VOlnerable" as a way to encourage her peers to open up the conversation about mental health in the industry. She is also the organizer of "Kenn Hikes" - A monthly hiking club aimed at creating genuine friendships in nature while getting active. In her spare time, you can find Kennedy stargazing with her telescope, playing with her two rescue dogs, or volunteering in the education and whale watching departments at "The Aquarium of the Pacific" every week.

"Today we’d like to introduce you to Kennedy Hibbert. Hi Kennedy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?

Sure! I was born in California but grew up in a small town in Arizona called Flagstaff. I have one sister and four brothers – two of which are my biological cousins that my family inherited after a tragedy caused by mental illness. Truth is, my family has had a long line of mental health issues that have deeply impacted my life. I was four when I went to my first funeral, twelve when I encountered my first suicide, and sixteen when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer, leading to my diagnosis of major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder...
